How to Avoid Toxic Chemicals in Clothing

Do you know what's in your clothes? From plastic-based fibers to chemical dyes, from endocrine disruptors to carcinogens, the ingredients used in clothing production are far and wide - and not readily labeled, researched, or marketed.

Day Into Eve Purity Rating, Explained.

Each brand is assigned a ‘Purity’ rating, based on the toxicity of the fibers, dyes, and processes used to develop their products. 100% means the brand uses all non-toxic fibers, dyes, and processes, and the rating goes from there. This information is based on each brand’s publicly available sustainability information on their website, which is also linked for each for your interest and reference.

p.s., this is just one measurement to help you choose clothing; sustainability has many aspects and I encourage you to make purchases based on your values and preferences. ~ Lydia, Founder of Day Into Eve
